Monthly general meeting

Open to members & curious visitors

We gather monthly at the Everhart Museum in Scranton for talks, specimen swaps, and good company. Bring something to share if you'd like. Our next meeting is the last Sunday in September — month-to-month dates are on our Facebook group.

Craft days & kids' activities

Between meetings and the show, members get together for craft days — wire-wrapping, lapidary, and painting rocks with the kids.

Out in the field

Field trips

Members head to regional quarries and collecting sites to dig their own specimens. Field trips are a member benefit — bring gloves, sturdy boots, and a bucket.
